The Town of Wilkie is seeking a self-motivated and innovative person for the full time position of Assistant Administrator with duties to commence on or about December 1, 2009. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of secretarial staff, preparation of tax and assessment rolls, handle customer inquiries, accounts payables and receivables, payroll and other accounting functions.
Qualifications* Preference will be given to those who hold a Certificate in Local Government Administration
* Prior municipal experience and knowledge of the Munisoft computer system would be a definite asset
* Prior accounting experience would be an asset
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
* Must be bondable
